The Violent Squirrel removed from PriceGrabber.com

September 17, 2009

I see that The Violent Squirrel has been removed from PriceGrabber.com. Shocking! I wonder why?

Also note the one 5 star review he had on Price Grabber – I wonder who wrote that? Someone with only one review to their name. It’s too easy to fake these reviews and mislead people. I hadn’t really given it much thought before but now my eyes are wide open!

      Hi Cindy,
I’ve tried many times writing a negative review at Nextag but my review is never published – I really don’t know why but it’s very fishy and I don’t trust Nextag much after this experience. He has mostly all good reviews there which most likely he has written himself. But please try and see if you can publish a negative review and let us know what happens. Other than that you can write a report at ripoffreport.com. Also you can tell us your story here by posting a comment under http://bogusware.wordpress.com/2009/09/15/scammed-with-counterfeit-photoshop-adobe-cs3-software/.

Got scammed as well. Scammed software was Photoshop CS3 S/N 1330-1956-8607-4343-3550-5874

This person continues to use email at: violent.squirrel@gmail.com

Our company also got ripped off by The Violent Squirrel. I had never ordered software online and was trying to get a good deal – based on the positive reviews I saw for him on NexTag and Merchant Circle, I thought he was legit. Will definitely do more research next time.

We reported him to the anti-piracy sites recommend by Adobe as well as Adobe itself. http://www.adobe.com/aboutadobe/antipiracy/prevention.html

Hopefully he will be put out of business if enough people report him after he rips them off!

    Dear Sir or Madam:
Thanks for the information about The Violent Squirrell. However, it was too late for me. I purchased a copy of Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate from them and found out it was counterfeit. Microsoft told me that it was not a valid copy of their software. It cost me $158.00.
The Windows 7 Ultimate came in a MS box, with MS logo on the two discs including a hologram of MS.
I am glad that you have been publishing information about this thief on your website. But, I wish I had known about it earlier.
